Follow Friday #4

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope you are all well and excited for the weekend! It's apparently going to be another nice one after a dreadful rainy week, so what better time to discover new YouTube channels and Blogs to watch/read whilst you (hopefully, *fingers crossed for good weather!*) sunbathe outside!

Do it on a Dime

This week's featured YouTube channel here on Diaryofawannabe*something* has to be Do it on a Dime, a channel dedicated to helping you lead a beautiful, organized lifestyle on a frugal budget. The channel is ran and hosted by Kathryn, a soon-to-be mother, teacher and organiser-extraordinaire! Honestly, this woman will transform your life through her thrifty solutions to organisation, home decor, and life! Here is one of my favourite videos from her:

Give it a watch and you'll see just how inventive Kathryn is on such a low budget! And everything she does can be replicated by you, it's that easy and efficient! Every time I watch her videos, I'm inspired to organise my entire house and fill it with art I've made!

This is popular lifestyle blog created by West-End star, Oliver Thornton. Originally meant to be a record of Oliver's time in Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, the blog took a different direction and now covers everything that is great about fashion, interiors and great living. I am a big fan of interior design, and Oliver shares my love for all thing vintage so I love the little gems he discovers and blogs about for our reading pleasure. He also has a great eye for fashion, with his recent blog on Burberry SS13 being a particular favourite of mine - he really did highlight what great pieces this iconic British line has brought to the forefront of fashion this season.

Design for Living also covers and reviews all of the things Oliver gets up to in London and, now that he is on tour with the The Rocky Horror Show, around the rest of the UK. This is a great insight and record into the diverse people, places and restaurants Oliver discovers on his travels and I have already added a few places to my to-visit list after seeing his recommendations.

Overall, I enjoy this blog because it is a different insight into fashion and interior design than, from what I feel,  the other blogs currently out there. Oliver has a real eye for design and I have discovered many things from reading his blog that I wouldn't have previously reading other blogs. The writing is of great quality, as Oliver really invites you into the post with his engaging words and photos that really add to the flavor - he always makes me think 'I want that' or 'I need to go there'. Most of all you can tell there is real passion behind the words and that Oliver really loves what he writes about, which for me is the real winning factor of this blogs success.

If, like me, you have an interest in design, fashion, gardening and of London/UK,
check out Design for Living at:

I can almost guarantee it will become one of your must-read blogs!

I hope you enjoy exploring this weeks Follow Friday recommendations!

Let me know what you think or if you have any blogs to recommend to me.

Love,

*Someone*
