Afternoon!

As I started this blog in the Spring, it's never had the opportunity to go through a 'Spring-Clean' so to speak. I basically had the idea for the blog and put it together in a night, so it's layout has always been a little slap-dash. So, as builders are currently rebuilding our garden fence meaning I am unable to sit outside in this glorious weather (Boo-hoo! :() I thought I'd give the blog a little sprucing up. It's nothing fancy, just a quick re-fresh! I will truly re-design the blog when the weather is awful again and I have hours to waste on Photoshop, but for now I thought this was a nice change and reflected a bit more of the 'diary' aspect of this lifestyle blog.

So I hope you like the new look!

Now get back outside and enjoy that sun.. I know I'm going to!*

*Not in my own garden of course (damn builders!) but what better excuse for a good walk right?

Until next time..

Love,

*Someone*

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope you are all well and excited for the weekend! It's apparently going to be another nice one after a dreadful rainy week, so what better time to discover new YouTube channels and Blogs to watch/read whilst you (hopefully, *fingers crossed for good weather!*) sunbathe outside!

Do it on a Dime

This week's featured YouTube channel here on Diaryofawannabe*something* has to be Do it on a Dime, a channel dedicated to helping you lead a beautiful, organized lifestyle on a frugal budget. The channel is ran and hosted by Kathryn, a soon-to-be mother, teacher and organiser-extraordinaire! Honestly, this woman will transform your life through her thrifty solutions to organisation, home decor, and life! Here is one of my favourite videos from her:

Give it a watch and you'll see just how inventive Kathryn is on such a low budget! And everything she does can be replicated by you, it's that easy and efficient! Every time I watch her videos, I'm inspired to organise my entire house and fill it with art I've made!

Design for living

This is popular lifestyle blog created by West-End star, Oliver Thornton. Originally meant to be a record of Oliver's time in Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, the blog took a different direction and now covers everything that is great about fashion, interiors and great living. I am a big fan of interior design, and Oliver shares my love for all thing vintage so I love the little gems he discovers and blogs about for our reading pleasure. He also has a great eye for fashion, with his recent blog on Burberry SS13 being a particular favourite of mine - he really did highlight what great pieces this iconic British line has brought to the forefront of fashion this season.

Design for Living also covers and reviews all of the things Oliver gets up to in London and, now that he is on tour with the The Rocky Horror Show, around the rest of the UK. This is a great insight and record into the diverse people, places and restaurants Oliver discovers on his travels and I have already added a few places to my to-visit list after seeing his recommendations.

Overall, I enjoy this blog because it is a different insight into fashion and interior design than, from what I feel,  the other blogs currently out there. Oliver has a real eye for design and I have discovered many things from reading his blog that I wouldn't have previously reading other blogs. The writing is of great quality, as Oliver really invites you into the post with his engaging words and photos that really add to the flavor - he always makes me think 'I want that' or 'I need to go there'. Most of all you can tell there is real passion behind the words and that Oliver really loves what he writes about, which for me is the real winning factor of this blogs success.

If, like me, you have an interest in design, fashion, gardening and of London/UK,
check out Design for Living at:

I can almost guarantee it will become one of your must-read blogs!

I hope you enjoy exploring this weeks Follow Friday recommendations!

Happy Friday Everyone! The weekend has arrived, so what a perfect time to discover new videos and blogs! This week's Follow Friday features two of my favourite YouTubers, who actually have two channels! And a blogger who makes me want to re-locate every time she posts! So without anymore delay, read on to find out more:

Prank vs. Prank aka BF vs. GF

These pair take pranks to a whole other level, and actually manage to maintain a good relationship in the process. They are clearly, a super couple. Jeana  and Jesse actually have two channels on Youtube, both with over 1 million subscribers. Impressive huh? Prank vs. Prank, also known as PVP, is the couple's main channel where they post videos of the pranks they have played on each other. The pranks are hilarious and really get you routing for either Jeana or Jesse as they take it in turns to take revenge and top one another's pranks. Their second channel, BF vs. GF, is where there couple post daily vlogs everyday, featuring their lives outside of pranking, and features their cute cats Nylah and Bamboo.

I love this couple. How they manage to prank each other and not break up, really is a sentiment to how strong their relationship is. They also really inspire me to keep on at the gym as I watch them go, pretty much daily, on their vlog channel. Between their two channels, they really have a video for everyone, so I whole heartily recommend you check them out, become a pvpeep and join the dope fresh nation, saan!

One of my favourite pranks pulled by the pair!

The Londoner
The Londoner is a lifestyle blog run by Rosie, a social media/digital marketing consultant living in London. It covers everything from food, fashion, travel and all the wonderful things she gets up to in London. I love this blog, mainly because it recommends places in London I've never heard of, and even though I'm miles away, through her blogs, it's like I never left the place that makes me the happiest...that's London if you hadn't guessed!

One of my favourite posts is The Anti-Diet, a wonderfully insightful read on how Rosie stays looking so good and healthy. As you might of guessed, it's not by using the word 'diet' and that's a skill I'm trying to teach myself. So every time I feeling a bit defeated, I go back and read this post to keep me motivated.

Another thing that makes The Londoner such a delightful read, is the photos and the general 'look' of the blog. The layout is simple, yet effective, and the photos really do bring the posts to life.

All in all, The Londoner has something for everyone, no matter what you like to read! I for one can spend hours reading over her blog, researching new recipes or taking inspiration from the fashion posts. Definitely one of my favourite bloggers!

I hope you enjoyed this second edition of Follow Friday and that you enjoy discovering the channels and blogs features this week!

Until next time...
